Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at yourrecoveryteam.com (the “Website”) operated by Your Recovery Team (“Your Recovery Team,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing, browsing, or using this Website, by submitting information through any form or booking calendar on the Website, or by otherwise communicating with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Website.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Your continued use of the Website after any change means you accept the revised Terms. See Section 16 (Changes to These Terms).
About Us
Your Recovery Team is a licensed public insurance adjusting firm based in West Palm Beach, Florida. We represent property and wildfire insurance claim holders in California, Hawaii, and Florida.
The firm’s owner and lead public adjuster is Glenis Romero Hargreaves, who holds the following public adjuster licenses:
License information is provided for transparency. Public adjuster licensing is regulated separately in each state, and any representation we provide is performed in accordance with the licensing and regulatory requirements of the state in which the insured property is located.
Description of Services
Your Recovery Team provides public insurance adjusting representation. As licensed public adjusters, we work on behalf of policyholders — not insurance companies — to help prepare, document, present, and negotiate first-party property insurance claims, including wildfire and other covered property damage claims.
The Website may also offer a free policy review. This policy review is provided for informational purposes only. It is a preliminary, general assessment intended to help you understand your situation. The free policy review:
- is not a guarantee that you have a valid claim;
- is not a guarantee of any recovery or any specific outcome;
- does not create a public adjuster–client relationship or any obligation on our part to represent you; and
- does not constitute legal advice or an insurance coverage determination.
Representation by Your Recovery Team begins only upon execution of a signed, written public adjuster contract. See Section 7 (No Representation Without a Signed Contract).
No Guarantee of Results
Your Recovery Team does not promise, guarantee, or warrant any specific recovery amount or any particular outcome on any insurance claim.
- Every insurance claim is different. Outcomes depend on factors specific to each policy, each loss, the facts and documentation involved, the conduct of the insurer, and applicable law.
- Results vary from claim to claim. Any examples, figures, settlements, or recoveries referenced on the Website or in our communications are illustrative only.
- Past results do not guarantee, predict, or imply future outcomes. A prior recovery in one matter does not mean a similar or any recovery will be achieved in your matter.
Nothing on this Website should be interpreted as a promise or assurance that your claim will result in any payment, increased payment, or any other particular result.
Important Disclaimers
5.1 — Not Legal Advice / Not a Law Firm
Your Recovery Team is a public insurance adjusting firm. We are not a law firm, and we do not provide legal advice or legal services. Nothing on this Website, and nothing communicated to you by Your Recovery Team, constitutes legal advice or creates an attorney-client relationship. Public adjusters assist with the valuation, documentation, and negotiation of insurance claims; they do not provide legal representation. If you need legal advice, or if your matter requires litigation or legal interpretation, you should consult a licensed attorney.
5.2 — Not an Insurance Company
Your Recovery Team is not an insurance company, insurer, or insurance agent or broker. We do not sell, underwrite, issue, or administer insurance policies, and we do not make coverage decisions. We represent policyholders in the adjustment of their own first-party claims. Nothing on this Website is an offer of insurance or a determination of coverage under any policy.
Fees and the Public Adjuster Contract
Any fee charged by Your Recovery Team for public adjusting services is disclosed in a separate, written public adjuster contract that complies with the laws and regulations of the applicable state (California, Hawaii, or Florida, as applicable to the property and engagement).
- Fee terms are not stated on this Website. The Website does not set, advertise, or fix any fee or percentage.
- The applicable fee, the scope of representation, and all other terms of the engagement are set forth only in the signed, state-compliant public adjuster contract you receive and review before retaining us.
- You should read your public adjuster contract carefully and ask any questions before signing it.
No Representation Without a Signed Contract
Submitting a form on this Website, providing your contact or claim information, booking a call through our calendar, requesting a free policy review, or otherwise communicating with us does not create a public adjuster–client relationship and does not obligate Your Recovery Team to represent you.
A representation relationship is formed only when both you and Your Recovery Team have signed a written public adjuster contract. Until that contract is signed by both parties, no engagement exists, and you should not assume that any deadlines — including policy deadlines, proof-of-loss deadlines, or limitations periods — are being monitored or protected on your behalf.
Lead Forms, Booking Calendar, and Your Submissions
The Website allows you to contact us and request services by submitting information through a contact/intake form — which may request your name, phone number, email address, property address, and details about your claim — and through an online booking calendar.
By submitting information through the Website, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the right to provide it. You consent to be contacted by Your Recovery Team by phone, text message, and email regarding your inquiry and our services. Do not submit information you consider confidential or sensitive beyond what is reasonably necessary for an initial inquiry, and understand that no public adjuster relationship is created by your submission (see Section 7).
Our collection and use of the information you submit is described in our Privacy Policy. Please review it before submitting information.
Advertising and Tracking
Your Recovery Team advertises its services online, including through paid advertising on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) and on Google. To measure and improve our advertising, the Website uses tracking technologies, including the Meta Pixel and Google tracking tags/pixels, as well as similar cookies and tools.
These technologies may collect information about your visit and your interactions with the Website and may be used to deliver and measure advertising. Your use of the Website is also subject to the privacy and advertising practices of these third-party platforms. For more information about how we use cookies and tracking technologies and your choices, please review our Privacy Policy and the privacy disclosures of the applicable platforms.
Testimonials and Reviews
Any testimonials, reviews, or client statements appearing on the Website reflect the individual experiences of those clients and are not necessarily representative of all clients or claims. Testimonials are not a guarantee or prediction that you will have the same or a similar experience or result. Individual results are not typical, and your outcome will depend on the specific facts and circumstances of your own claim (see Section 4). Testimonials are not compensated unless otherwise disclosed.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Website, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, the “Your Recovery Team” name and marks, images, page layouts, and the selection and arrangement of content, is owned by or licensed to Your Recovery Team and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view and use the Website for your own personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any content from the Website without our prior written permission.
Third-Party Links
The Website may contain links to third-party websites, tools, or resources — including our advertising platforms and booking tools — that are not owned or controlled by Your Recovery Team. We provide these links for convenience only. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, products, services, accuracy, or privacy practices of any third-party site. Accessing any linked third-party site is at your own risk, and those sites are governed by their own terms and policies.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
- Your Recovery Team does not warrant that the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components, or that any information on the Website is complete, current, or accurate.
- In no event shall Your Recovery Team, Glenis Romero Hargreaves, or any of its or her owners, members, employees, contractors, or agents be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your access to or use of (or inability to use) the Website, the information on it, or any submission you make through it.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights or obligations that arise under a signed public adjuster contract; that contract governs the parties’ relationship with respect to the engagement it describes. This Section addresses use of the Website only.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Your Recovery Team, Glenis Romero Hargreaves, and its and her owners, members, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the Website; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party; or (d) any information you submit through the Website.
Governing Law
Your Recovery Team provides public adjusting services to clients with property located in California, Hawaii, and Florida. Public adjusting is regulated separately in each of these states.
These Website Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida, where Your Recovery Team is based, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles, except to the extent the laws of the state where your property is located apply to a particular matter.
Each engagement is governed by its own signed public adjuster contract. That contract — and the laws of the state in which the insured property is located and in which the public adjusting services are performed (California, Hawaii, or Florida, as applicable) — controls the terms of representation, the fee, and the rights and obligations of the parties for that engagement. In the event of any conflict between these Website Terms and a signed public adjuster contract, the signed public adjuster contract governs as to that engagement.
Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time, in our sole discretion, by posting the updated Terms on the Website and updating the “Effective Date” above. Changes are effective when posted. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the Website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be modified or severed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
