Privacy Policy — Your Recovery Team

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 2026

Your Recovery Team (“Your Recovery Team,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website at yourrecoveryteam.com (the “Site”), how we use and share it, and the choices you have. Your Recovery Team is a licensed public insurance adjusting firm that helps property owners and wildfire claim holders in California, Hawaii, and Florida prepare, document, and pursue their insurance claims.

By using the Site, submitting a form, booking an appointment, or otherwise contacting us, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Section 1

Information We Collect

We collect information directly from you, automatically through your use of the Site, and through the advertising and analytics tools described below.

Information You Provide Through Our Lead Form

When you complete a contact or intake form on the Site, we collect:

  • Name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Property address — the location of the property tied to your claim
  • Claim details — information about your insurance claim, the type and cause of loss such as wildfire or other property damage, your insurance carrier, and any other details you choose to share

Booking Information

When you schedule a consultation through our booking calendar, we collect the information needed to confirm and manage your appointment, such as your name, contact details, the date and time you select, and any notes you add about your claim or situation.

Call Logs and Communications

When you call us at (561) 577-7163, text us, or otherwise communicate with us, we may keep records of that communication, including your phone number, the date and time of contact, the content of messages, and notes our team takes to assist with your claim.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, certain information is collected automatically through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, including:

  • IP address and approximate location
  • Device type, browser type, and operating system
  • Pages viewed, links clicked, and time spent on the Site
  • Referring website or ad that brought you to the Site
  • Site usage and analytics data
Section 2

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to you — answer your questions, return your calls and messages, and provide the information you request
  • Review and evaluate your claim — assess your property insurance or wildfire claim, gather the details needed to determine whether and how we can help, and provide our public adjusting services
  • Schedule and manage appointments — confirm, remind, reschedule, or follow up on consultations you book
  • Communicate with you — send service-related updates and, where you have consented, marketing and follow-up messages about our services
  • Operate and improve the Site — understand how visitors use the Site, measure the performance of our advertising, and improve our content and services
  • Comply with legal and regulatory obligations — meet recordkeeping and licensing requirements applicable to a public adjusting firm and respond to lawful requests

We do not use your information for any purpose unrelated to the services described in this policy.

Section 4

Cookies, Pixels, and Advertising Trackers

We use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies on the Site to operate it, analyze traffic, and measure and improve our advertising.

Meta (Facebook / Instagram)

We use the Meta Pixel and the Meta Conversions API (CAPI) to understand how visitors interact with our Site, to measure the effectiveness of our ads on Facebook and Instagram, and to show relevant ads to people who have visited our Site. These tools may collect information such as page activity, actions you take on the Site (for example, submitting a form), and identifiers that help match your activity to your Meta account.

Google (Google Ads and Google Analytics 4)

We use Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing tags and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to measure Site traffic and ad performance, to understand how visitors use the Site, and to deliver and measure ads across Google's network. These tools may collect information such as your device and browser data, IP address, and the pages and actions taken on the Site.

These third-party tools are operated by Meta and Google, who process the data in accordance with their own privacy policies. You can manage your advertising preferences through the opt-out options described in the “Your Choices / Opt-Outs” section below.

Section 5

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as our website host, customer relationship management (CRM) and intake platform, scheduling and calendar tools, email and SMS messaging providers, and analytics and advertising platforms. These providers may only use your information to perform services for us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
  • Advertising and analytics partners. As described above, we share certain Site activity with Meta and Google to measure and improve our advertising. This does not include the mobile opt-in or SMS consent data described in the SMS section, which is never shared for marketing purposes.
  • Professional and legal requirements. We may share information with our professional advisors and to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, property, or safety of Your Recovery Team, our clients, or others.
  • Business transfers. If Your Recovery Team is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent data with third parties for their own marketing.

Section 6

California Privacy Rights (CCPA / CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA/CPRA”), gives you the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Right to know — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of that information, the purposes for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
  • Right to delete — request that we delete the personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain legal exceptions.
  • Right to correct — request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — direct us not to sell or share your personal information. While we do not sell personal information for money, certain uses of advertising and analytics cookies may be considered “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. You may opt out as described below.
  • Right to non-discrimination — you will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising any of your CCPA/CPRA rights.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. To opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, you may contact us using the information in the “Contact” section below, or adjust your browser and advertising settings as described in “Your Choices / Opt-Outs.” We honor recognized opt-out preference signals (such as Global Privacy Control) where applicable.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at (561) 577-7163. We will verify your request before responding and will respond within the timeframes required by law. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification.

Section 7

  • Text messages: Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or HELP for assistance.
  • Email: Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email, or contact us to opt out of marketing communications.
  • Phone calls: Ask us to stop calling you at any time and we will honor your request.

When information is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or de-identify it.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Section 10

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this policy and post the revised version on the Site. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
